Tori Yamu, La Lola & Bread Talk for a Foodventure Night in Davao City

Stayed in Red Planet Hotel Davao for this year's  cousins' food adventure. After checked-in, we took a nap and freshen up in time for dinner. We've noted a few places to but because it was raining hard that day, we decided to just go to SM Lanang. And the searched for a place to eat starts. Taking into consideration certain things; Browie wants something that uses a chopsticks, the rest wants to try something that is homegrown, and must not have a restaurant within SOCSKSARGEN.
Tori Yamu Japanese Street Food caught our attention as we went around the 3rd Level of SM Lanang. With its yellow and black color scheme Tori Yamu is hard to miss. And as we enter I run through their menu right away and every thing on it are affordable making the decision to have dinner at Tori Yamu easier. We ordered; Y3 (Bacon Quail Egg, Bacon Asparagus & Pork Belly with Rice) for Php 148.00, Y5 (2 pcs. Chicken Karaage with Rice) for Php 128.00, Y7 (Chicken Thigh & Belly Roll with Rice)  for Php 118.00, Y1 (Pork Belly Roll & Bacon Asparagus Roll with Rice) for Php 118.00, Pork Okonomiyaki  for Php 125.00 and 6 pcs. Vegetable Takoyaki for Php 96.00. While waiting for our orders, we were entertained by its Robot Grilled BBQ. Tori Yamu is the first to use a  robot to grill BBQ in Mindanao. I did a little reading  on Tori Yamu, it was inspired by the Tori Q restaurant in Singapore that uses the same concept, robot grilled restaurant.

Yakitori is a Japanese type of skewered chicken and a popular street food in Japan. As our orders arrive, we just dig in right away, each serving is very filling but because it taste really good my siblings got room for the okonomiyaki & takoyaki they have ordered, while I give up. Each serving of Y meal combo comes with a glass of red tea.
I highly recommend Tori Yamu Japanese Street Food for delicious and affordable meal.
La Lola Churreria is located at the 2nd Floor of SM Lanang. From a very filling dinner, I've got no plans but to walk and walk and walk to burn everything I put it in, but because I was so fond of Solenn and Nico Bolzico, I have to try La Lola.

La Lola Churreria is a locally grown, Manila based churros shop that aims to serve the best authentic Spanish churros.  I ordered the Medium Ultimate Mix for Php 250.00, a combination of different flavored churros. The churros are big, crunchy and delicioso.
Before heading to our hotel, Browie had this thing of treating us every time we're out. When he saw Bread Talk at the Ground Floor Level of SM Lanang, he told us that he will buy Mama breads as pasalubong and he will treat us to one bread each. It was fun choosing our one and only bread.

We ended the night early since the brother is with us. But it was fun to try all the new food places in Davao City.
