Finally Ivisan, Capiz

Poblacion, Ivisan public market
Ivisan, Capiz was once a home to our Ate Nene, she has been with out family for 17 years. We are so blessed that after 17 years, she still chooses to be with us.
Ivisan, Capiz is one of the main reason why we had Capiz, as part of our summer roadtrip. We wanted to celebrate Ate Nene's birthday at her hometown and with her family. Ivisan is a fourth class municipality in the province of Capiz and is considered as the smallest. It was not my first time to visit Ivisan. Back in college, I had the chance to visit with Ate Nene, and there I feasted on seafood.
a welcome spread for us at 4:00 A.M.

Breakfast

Seafood in Ivisan is the freshest one can have. We arrived in Ivisan past 4 in the morning, but still we were welcomed with food they have prepared a night before. Being a foodie, o talagang gutom sa biyahe, kainan na agad. After having coffee, balut and malagkit, by 7, breakfast is served and it was a SEAFOOD Breakfast. Adobong Pusit, Adobong Scallops, Fried Fish, Steamed Crabs, Halabos na Hipon and Mussels.
Ate Nene with her family

In the evening, we again had another SEAFOOD Dinner of our "pinamalengke" from the Poblacion.

Our Ivisan visit may have been short but I am praying that it made our Ate Nene happy.
