City of Dumaguete is the capital city of the province of Negros Oriental. A "university town,"because of the presence of four universities. Most famous is the Siliman University, the first Protestant university in the country.
A quick tour can be done around, it was a Sunday when we visited, museums and Sidlakang Negros were closed, we opted to take a rainy walk along Rizal Boulevard. Here are the sights and experience not to be missed when visiting Dumaguete City.
