Fortunate or simply blessed to find a place to eat and a place to sleep in Mati City. It was raining hard when we get to Mati City. And asking a local for a place to eat a super late lunch is impossible.
Crossing our fingers and attentively reading all signage for a place to eat leads us to Mati City Baywalk. And there, we found a two storey wooden structure with lots of vehicles parked, this must be the place where locals dine.
La-nes Kan-anan is located in Bonifacio St., Mati City. For lunch we had; Squid Sotanghon, Pork Sisig, Grilled Bagaybay and Lechon Kawali.

Our inclusive breakfast for 4 |
After our lunch we went to look for the place to stay I booked online, but after checking it with Sissy we came to conclude that it won't passed Browie and Deo's standard of a place to stay. Off we walked and entered La-nes Katulganan 2, but hmmm, all rooms were occupied. Thanks to a very gracious front desk who checked if La-nes Katulganan 1's Family Suite is available.
Back to La-nes Kan-anan, La-nes Katulganan's front desk is just the door where we had parked Hot Daniel for lunch.

La-nes Katulganan's Family Suite |
Family Suite is big enough for us. It got two Queen size beds and they provide us with one extra foam. The toilet and bath is clean and smell's good. It indeed passed our two Big boys' standard.
I highly recommend La-nes Kan-anan and Katulganan when visiting Mati City. And try La-nes Bagoong.
