  •  Cafe Laguna Lunch in Veranza

We had Cafe Laguna because we wanted to try a new place to dine. The lunch we had is an experience and a test of patience.

Food is ok, nothing special with it, well except for their Lumpiang Sariwa, fresh ubud is crunchy and sweet. We ordered; Ginataang Gulay, Seafood Platter, Lechon Kawali, Lumpiang sariwa, Kare-Kare and Tinolang Palumpano, Brewed Coffee and a variety of Shakes. We even requested that coffee be served ahead, but ended up having to follow-up about it a couple of times. Food were served nth minutes, my cousins were able to play in WOF, came back and wait again, that's how long we waited. i learned later from Maya and Sissy that even in Cebu service is a test of patience. But another big NO,NO came when food was served, Ginataang Gulay and Tinolang Palumpano is no where to be found.

Then it's Mother's Day! We still celebrate and honor our Mama, and in honoring them we have to show maturity in our dealings. When I billed out and checked it, the Ginataang Gulay was charged but they subtracted it from our bill. For the Tinolang Palumpano, they taught I cancelled it when I added  the Seafood Platter. That is how we had Mother's Day lunch in Cafe Laguna.
  • The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf
It's our make "bawi" treat. And we did, Mama and Papa were happy with their Brewed Coffee of the Day. Pastor Lisa finds her Vanilla Mocha super "sarap." With that, we indeed made "bawi."

  • Army Navy take-out
We had Burritos and Double Cheese for our afternoon take out when we get home. The verdict both are good and filling.
