Davao City: Lechon Haus & Happy Lemon

After my Summer Roadtrip Series, its my first post on Davao Foodventure 2017 with my ultimate foodie buddies; Sissy, Miya & Browie. Last time we did a Davao City food adventure with Deo, this time with Browie. We were in Davao City to help Miya look for a new place to stay and to grant her birthday staycation gift from Mama Nette.
Sissy and Miya went ahead early that morning, while me & Browie left home past 9:00 A.M. With the declaration of Martial Law, travel time to Davao City is a little longer than the usual 3 hours bus ride. We reached Davao City past 1:00 P.M., and with brother in tow, food is a must. The moment we entered SM Ecoland, we went straight to look for a place to eat.
Lechon Haus is the only option then. It is a Visayas grown quick service restaurant, that offers crunchy and juicy lechon and lechon manok. Upon entering, I went straight to order ; Half Half Combo (rice, lechon belly & roast chicken) for Php 139.00 and Roasted Chicken for Php 99.00. I added Php 8.00 for unlimited rice, that got my brother whining on the proposed bill on unlimited rice promo of restaurants. That made us laugh a lot, how at his age he's so involved and concerned on what is happening in the country.

Sissy and Miya meet us in Lechon Haus. Lechon Haus is located in the 2nd Floor of SM Davao main building.
After an unlimited rice lunch, we needed something that would cool us off. Happy Lemon was our next stop, located at the Ground Floor Annex of SM Davao. It was my first time to try Happy Lemon flavoured drinks, Sissy and Miya gave us idea on what to order. We had; Lemon Yakult Smoothie, Cocoa & Oreo Cookies with Rock Salt & Cheese, Cocoa Tiramisu. I find the Lemon Yakult Smoothie refreshing and the rest taste good as well.

Happy conversation happens when you're with people you love and though we get to see each other everyday it feels good that we get to spend time outside our home. Within a few hours, four of us were able to try two new food places.....
