Wookiee Pies for Miya’s Birthday

It’s Miya’s 22^nd birthday and I woke up extra early to bake her, Wookiee Pies. It is her special request, for me to bake her anything Star Wars on her birthday. And I just can’t be lazy about it since she even bought me, “The Star Wars Cookbook.” As a loving “Ate,” I want her to feel how much we appreciate and love her, with the Wookiee Pies.

Wookiee Pies

Cookies

1 2/3 All Purpose flour

2/3 cup Cocoa Powder

1 ½  tsp. Baking Soda

½  tsp. salt

4 tbsp. unsalted butter, at room temperature

4 tbsp. vegetable shortening

1 cup packed dark brown sugar

1 egg

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 ¼ cup milk, at room temperature

Browie wrote a cutie letter to go with the box of Wookiee Pies we gave Miya just before our Sunday Church service.
