Koronadal City: Viajera Dine & Cafe, a Mother's Day Lunch Treat

Mama Dora is my pillar of strength. Our wanderlust Mama. Since her retirement, we no longer opt for bags & clothes as gift to her, we rather create memories of travels and food discoveries.
On Mother's Day, after doing my cake & cupcakes delivery, I dropped by Viajera Dine and Cafe in Brgy. Morales, Koronadal City, to make a reservation.
Viajera Dine and Cafe opened last December 2014. It is owned and managed by Mr. & Mrs. Nono Lagos, a retired banker & nurse. Viajera is a "non pork restaurant," making it an advantage, especially that Koronadal City is the new Regional Center of Region XI.

I was surprised to learn during our lunch that my parents were friends with the owners. And they tour us around the restaurant. Viajera is a two storey restaurant, the 2nd floor is Japanese inspired, where one has to leave his/her footwear before climbing the 2nd floor.
Upon my reservation, their manager recommended that I take their buffet meal of 10 paxs for Php 2,800.00. The buffet is inclusive of; soup - Pumpkin Soup, appetizer - Tenderloin Tips, two main course - Pandan Chicken & Mixed Seafood, vegetable dish - Stir Fried Vegetables w/ Crispy Noodles, dessert - Viajera Glass Desserts, drinks- Four Seasons w/ diced fruits.

We were so full, that they have to pack for us the Mixed Seafood, Terderloin Tips & Stir Fried Veggies. Yup they let you take home what ever is left of the buffet. For the number of dishes and serving size, Viajera totally gives its customers a value for money. Another big plus, their staff, are very accommodating and super nice, they all have a ready smile for all their guests.
I find the place warm, it is like home where everyone welcomes you. Especially that the owners are around, I even saw Mrs. Lagos assisting guest to their tables.

Viajera Dine & Cafe is a newest place to dine with family & friends when visiting Koronadal City.
