Koronadal City: Celema’s Lutong Bahay

Celema’s is a Koronadal institution, back in the days, it is the place to be for celebrations. And we wanted to introduce Browie to what Celema’s dining is. After accompanying Mama at the Provincial Capitol, we headed straight across to Celema’s Place.
Upon entering a smiling Manang welcomes us, asking Mama if she already retired and if we were those kids she used to bring for lunch back then. Celema’s is our examination day treat, one of the few food place in Koronadal City in the 90’s.
Our favorite is the Fried Chicken, no breading what so ever, simply salt and pepper then fried to perfection, making the chicken’s taste come out. And it did pass Browie’s standard, when all he had for lunch is the fried chicken. We also had; Pinakbet, Mixed Seafood, Papaitan and Caldereta for lunch. It is good to be back, to have a taste of Celema’s Lutong Bahay.
Celema’s Place is located along Alunan Avenue, across South Cotabato Provincial Capitol.
