An Iloilo City trip is never complete without seeing my two college friends; Shannah & Jenny. And the "place" is Plazuela de Iloilo.
Plazuela de Iloilo is the newest "go to place," when visiting Iloilo City. It is a two-storey European inspired architecture, standing proud along Benigno Aquino Avenue. It boasts with restaurants and specialty boutiques.
Peppys is where we will have our dinner. It is a Thai restaurant, and it offers a very refreshing Thai cuisine. We were seated al fresco, giving us more time to people watch.
Maridels is where we had our desserts after. Its a quaint cake and pastry shop facing the "Plaza Mayor." For desserts they made me try; Frozen Lemon Meringue, Turtle Pie & Sugar-free Carrot Cake.
We ended our night, going around the Plaza Mayor. And the best thing about it, dinner & desserts were free, courtesy of Jenny for the dinner & Shannah for the desserts. It pays to be the "visitor."
