A Bauhinia Lunch

Nine years ago, during college, I remember going to the same restaurant during special occasions. But now, wooh I don’t know how and what resto to choose, good thing that my UP buddies; Jenny & Shannah are just text away for suggestions of restaurants in Iloilo.
Highly recommended is Bauhinia Restaurant at the strip, not in Vegas but Smallville’s extension.

The restaurant got its name from a flowering Bauhinia, commonly called Butterfly Tree. Bauhinia Restaurant offers a Ilonggo cuisine, for lunch we ordered; Chicken Tinuob, Bistek, Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet & Crispy Pata.

For our drinks, we had; Ice Tea & Mango Shake.

While waiting for our orders, they served us salted peanut. The food is yummy, especially the Chicken Tinuob, a tinolang manok wrapped in banana leaves.

I find its prices very reasonable with the ambiance, taste and service that we got.
