Foodie Finds: Zubuchon Lechon

Asked me anything about Anthony Bourdain, I will be confident to answer you. (that's pride) But what made me even prouder is when he featured  "THE BEST PIG EVER," and it is in the Philippines!

When I got a chance to be in Cebu, I have to taste it as well. We are a family of foodies and even roast our own lechon in every family events, so tasting this famous lechon is a must for us.
It was raining hard, to be particular it was during Typhoon Sendong and the whole pack of Ronnie Nolasco (Ma Dora, Me, sissy Che, Lil Bro J and Couz Miya), is off looking for Zubuchon.(that's is what I call a family of foodie)
Me, lil bro & sissy
Here is our Zubuchon experience:
We ordered; Lechon, Sinigang na Lechon, Kinilaw na Lechon, Garlic Rice & Iba (Kamias) Shake. There is something common in our orders, the sourness in it.

Kinilaw na Lechon

Garlic Rice

Lechon

Sinigang na Lechon

Iba Shake

Since there was a typhoon during our visit, we have to wait for about an hour for the lechon, which was understandable at that time, with heavy rain outside they had difficulty in transporting the lechon. It just shows that they serve freshly roasted lechon.
It was an exciting experience for us, first, it's our first time to try Singang na Lechon and Kinilaw na Lechon. Second, the excitement of waiting for the lechon to arrive.
The foods are awesome and a thumbs up for bro, but huhu the sourness level, very high, you'll get a mukasim face.

the testament of a foodie family

Zubuchon's lechon is indeed "the best pig ever," I love how juicy the meat but at the same time, the skin is crispy. It appeal to me because of the herds, you can really sense the aroma that it gives once you take a bite of it.
And so I say: Zubuchon's Lechon Found and Tasted!!!!
