No longer a hole in a wall Cafe but one of the most famous stop when visiting Paoay, Ilocos Norte. Located across Paoay Church is the Herencia Cafe, famous for its "Pinakbet Pizza."
The Cafe itself is just a quaint shop in the corner of the street, the cafe's wall is painted with murals.

We ordered; Pinakbet Pizza and Classic Ham and Cheese Pizza. I say, Norte meets Italy with the Pinakbet Pizza, with all pinakbet's vegetables topped with cheese indeed made a wonderful marriage of a tasty pizza. I love how the vegetables did not overpower the pizza, it worked well together.
