Our next stop after Bangui Windmills is the Lighthouse of Cape Bojeador. Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is also known as The Burgos lighthouse. It is a cultural heritage structure located in Burgos, Ilocos Norte and was built during the Spanish Colonial Period.

What is amazing with this century old lighthouse is that up to this day, it lights and guides seafarers entering the Philippine archipelago from the North.
We climb the steps to the lighthouse and I tell you, if you plan to include it to your Ilocos itinerary do some walking before your trip, you have to prepare your legs for the climb. It was just a quick stop and yes we were still the first guest that day.
