About Me

The Provincial Lady was born out of my desire to share life in the province of Southern Mindanao. Provincial according to Mr. Google means; “an inhabitant of the regions outside the capital city of a country, especially when regarded as unsophisticated or narrow-minded.” And a lady is “A woman of high social standing or refinement, especially when viewed as dignified or well-mannered.”
Provincial lady are terms that move in a totally opposite directions when defined. But my life would show it otherwise. How I lived the life I am blessed with, a Provincial Lady!

I am a graduate of BS Management Major in Business Management from University of the Philippines in the Visayas, Iloilo City. Supposedly on my 4th year of LLB from Mindanao State University, until I decided to quit law school and being a government employee for 5 years.
Being business management students, you were taught to create jobs and not to get jobs after graduation.” Those were the very words of my UP Adviser and professor, Professor Escoto. Back then, I did not know why and how those words made an impact that I never forget about it. Until, I experienced what a job is…….it is working 8 hours a day, even beyond. But even then, the entrepreneurial ME is shouting. While working and studying law, I can still squeezed in orders of baked goodies in between. Burn-out clouded ME, then my free time were spent on booking and googling a place to explore.
2012 was BIG LEAP for ME. End of 2011 I quit everything, work, law school and even the thought of mending a broken relationship.
